Are you a comedian who fancies running an open mic or show? Or a newer showrunner who needs a few pointers?
Kim Skinner is the producer of AtoMIC Comedy, and has been running open mics and showcases in Barcelona for nearly 10 years. Some have been a great success. Some have not. Often she feels like everything she touches turns to sh*t. But she has been voted Best Showrunner for two consecutive years at the Barcelona Clubbies so has decided to lock her imposter syndrome in a box and share some of the stuff she's learnt over several years of trial and MUCH error.
You'll learn the basics of promotion, booking lineups, and managing the tricksy triumvirate of comedians, venue and audience, as well as the fine art of knowing your strengths, recognising your limitations and not beating yourself up when it doesn't work.
