"How to Woo the Audience Being a Potato" is a 2-day intensive clown workshop focusing on audience interaction, stage presence and the art of sharing one’s own vulnerability in order to establish an individual theme/game to play with the public. You will come out of the course with answers to the questions: ‘’What do you want to say to the world?’’, ‘’What is your stage persona?’’, ‘’What does the audience see when they look at you?’’
This workshop is led by experienced Basque clown Paula Valluerca. Paula graduated in Drama in Pamplona and Theater creation in the London International School of Performing Arts, and she proudly holds a postgraduate degree in Music Therapy from the Autonomous University of Madrid. Her work as Madame Señorita has travelled Spain, England, Scotland, the Czech Republic, and Germany. As an educator, she is part of the teaching team at the TAI University School of Performing Arts in Madrid.
This workshop is for professionals or amateurs who want to embark on a journey to discover a stage character close to them and their vulnerabilities, or people who pursue establishing a strong and honest connection with the audience. It's recommended that participants have previously taken a clown course.
