Stand-up curious? Stand-up Bootcamp is a 8-week intensive course where beginning level students will learn the fundamentals of stand-up comedy, exploring joke structure and style, developing their comedic persona, and crafting a 5 minute set to be performed at the culmination of class as part of a ''graduation show'' during the Barcelona Fringe Festival 2026.
About the Instructor: Luke Meginsky is an improviser and stand-up comedian from Massachusetts, USA. Luke has trained in improv at Second City, Annoyance Theatre, and Improv Olympic in Chicago, and performed comedy all over the world, with shows at the Fringe festivals (Edinburgh and Brighton), Kung-Fu Comedy (Shanghai), Cosmic Comedy (Berlin), Village Underground (New York) and Cruilla Comedy XXS (Barcelona). He has decades of experience as a teacher and has been running his introductory stand up comedy course ''Stand Up Bootcamp'' since 2023.
