Andy Casper’s Clown 101
Do you want to feel more free whilst performing in front of an audience? To be able to embrace imperfection and turn your flaws into your greatest assets? Have you forgotten your playful side and want to rediscover it? Clown 101 will help you to do all this and more.
By playing games together and taking part in various performance exercises, your teacher (comedian Andy Casper) will guide you through the first steps of clowning. The workshop will emphasise having pleasure on stage. It will not only open you up to a new way of thinking about performance art but will also be really fun. You will be laughing a lot as you learn.
Whether you have only been on stage a handful of times or you’ve been performing for years, ‘’Clown 101’’ is for you. We will explore:
• Sensitivity to the audience
• Celebrating failure
• Bafflement
• Vulnerability
• Optimism

Time: Mondays, 19h - 21h (first class on 8 September)

There will be a student showcase after the course which will take place during the Barcelona Fringe 2025 (31 October - 9 November). The exact dates will be announced during the course.
