We’re launching a new weekly showcase on Sundays at 9pm called The Sunday Show! The idea is it’s like the more chill (and cheaper) version of Friday Night Live. So it’s a similar format (great host and 6 acts) but the spots will be a bit shorter so we can give opportunities to newer acts with tight 5s. We’ll also be booking the best acts from our scene and any cool visiting acts coming through. There will be FREE SHOTS, and discounted tickets for students! To celebrate the launch, we’re doing 2×1 tickets using the code: SUNDAYFUNDAY on our website.
This is also one of the schedule changes we’re making starting September 1! In addition to the new Sunday Show and some time changes there, we’re also changing Mondays and Tuesdays to match our Wednesday schedule. That means shows at 7:30pm and 9pm. But not this week yet, the changes will go into effect in September!
Finally, for people that have been following us for a while, we have a former BCN resident comedian coming from Berlin this weekend to headline the Saturday Spotlight and do a bunch of other spots: TAMER KATTAN! For those who don’t know him, he is a powerhouse of a comedian who sharpened his skills over 13 years across Los Angeles, NYC, and London, as well as touring all over Europe and performing at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. He used to call BCN home, so let’s give him the welcome back he deserves!

Saturday Spotlight: Tamer Kattan
Tamer Kattan is a powerhouse of a comedian who sharpened his skills over 13 years across Los Angeles, NYC & London. He now calls Berlin home and often can be found at his home club, Cosmic Comedy Berlin. He maintains a heavy touring schedule & has been tearing up the European comedy scene. He is the proud owner of multiple 4 & 5 star reviews from The Edinburgh Fringe in Scotland and was recently featured on Seth Rogen’s Hilarity for Charity event with Todd Glass and Hannibal Buress in the U.S. He is the winner of The World Series of Comedy, Comedy Knockout on truTV, “Best of Fest” at Big Pine Comedy Festival, The Portland Comedy Festival and multiple others. He holds several TV & Radio credits on BBC and SkyTV in the UK as well as in the U.S. on Fox, HULU, Netflix, Amazon & truTV. In 2022 he joined the writing staff of the soon to be released animated series “Tantrum Jesus” as Writer/Producer.

🌮 One of BCN’s finest, Hector Ayala, is bringing us his latest solo hour, Make a Mexican Great Again. The show is a ridiculous testament of truth, absurdity, and spontaneity from the perspective of a Mexicano in Europe: an unfiltered, short, latino man living in the First World – and brought up in the joyous yet surreal walled-up Mexican territory. He’ll mix crowd-work, improvisation, and an honest manifesto of his life experiences.

Lolyamorous is a live speed dating comedy show, where you can sign up to go on an on-stage mini date with another audience member, then get interviewed by the esteemed Lolyamorous panel. James Regal hosts, with sex/relationship expert Willow Star, and Hannah Becker as the guest host.
