Frequently Asked Questions
We host a wide variety of shows, from traditional stand-up, to game shows, roast battles, and improv.
Our shows are predominantly in English. However we also have some shows in Spanish, Catalan, French, Italian, Russian, Swedish and other languages. We always make it clear what language each show will be in their listing on our website.
If you would like to see a show in your native language that isn’t currently in our calendar, we’d be happy for you to get in touch and we can talk about how to make that happen!
We do occasionally produce family-friendly shows, or book acts whose material is squeaky clean. We encourage you to read the description of the show you are booking in order to make an informed choice.
Yes. Our bar serves a selection of beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks. Speak to one of our friendly bar staff and they’ll fix you a nice, refreshing drink.
We offer bar snacks such as chips and a mixed assortment of nuts. The venue does not currently have a kitchen, but there are plenty of tasty take-away options in the area. We are also fine with people bringing their own food into the venue, as long as it isn’t disruptive to other customers.
Yes. Both the upstairs bar area and the show room are fully air conditioned.
We do not have our own smoking area. If you need to smoke we invite you to do so outside. After 10pm we kindly ask people to smoke in the main square 1 minute away in order to not have people talking loudly outside our neighbours’ windows.
We do not tolerate any physical abuse towards our performance, staff or other audience members
Whether you’re an established comedian or have never done comedy before, we’d love to hear from you. We host various open mic nights that are perfect for first-timers, or showcases for more experienced heads. You can also talk to us about performing your own show.
For new comedians, write to @thecomedyclubhouse on instagram or, even better, to the pages of the individual shows.
For established acts, email [email protected].
Most shows will have tickets that can be bought on the door with cash or card. However, we strongly suggest you buy online in advance, particularly for our busier shows on the weekend.
We occasionally have no-shows from people who have bought tickets, which frees up space for door sales. If you want to try, we simply ask that you wait at the door until 10 minutes after the show has officially started and we will see if we can seat you.
Yes! You can bring your dog, we accept all good boys and good girls. Although please be aware that it can get busy (especially on Friday and Saturday nights) so it may be a little chaotic. Also if your dog is disturbing the performance, you should remove them from the show.
We are happy to refund any ticket purchase for any reason as long as it is requested via WhatsApp Business (+34 611 61 94 46) at least 2 hours before the start of the show. This gives us the chance to sell the tickets to someone else that is able to attend. If you arrive with one less person in your party, we won’t generally refund. We also generally won’t refund if it is requested after the show start time.
If you have a question that isn’t answered here, you can email us at [email protected]
