Hey, hey, hey! Are you planning to see any comedy this week? We’ve got a ton of solo shows to check out, from both local and visiting comedians, and we’ll have shows in FIVE languages this week. How cool is that?
I’m most excited to give you guys 2×1 tickets to Versus Comedy on Friday! The theme this weekend is UK vs. USA, so we’ve picked 3 amazing comedians to represent each team and do their very best material. At the end of the show, the audience gets to vote on which team was funnier, and the winning team gets… nothing, except bragging rights and a feeling of satisfaction that only comes with winning an audience clap-off. So whether you’re team UK, team USA, or you hate them both, you can use the code REVOLUTIONARYWAR to get 2×1 tickets to a great show!

Special Shows This Week
👼 Fresh from his Edinburgh Fringe debut, Iain Anderson is back at the Comedy Clubhouse with his one man show “TRAUMEDY: A Guide To Being A Fabulous Homeless Addict”. It was a huge success during the festival and audiences praised it for being a clever blend of hilarious, moving and uplifting storytelling. This show is the true story of Iain’s journey through addiction, mental health struggles and homelessness to recovery – all told in his own unique style. So, for those of you who were unable to travel Edinburgh to see it then now is your chance to catch it!
🌚 Join Barcelona-based Scottish comedian Stuart Kennedy on a journey through the “Snart of Darkness” – the follow-up show to his debut standup hour ‘Shitegeist’. A show about lessons learned, lessons ignored, and lessons (probably not) learned again. Guaranteed to be slightly offensive, and highly Scottish!
🤞 Following her EdFringe debut of her new hour “The Right Amount of Wrong,” comedian Natasha Pearl Hansen brings her show to Barcelona! Natasha began her career at Second City Chicago, eventually moving to Los Angeles where she became a regular at top comedy clubs across the US, appeared on shows on Hulu, Comedy Central, NBC, Fox, and Amazon, and won awards for her work as a writer, actress and producer in the comedy world. Her first comedy special “I Was Supposed to Get Married Today,” was shot on her canceled wedding day and premiered on Amazon Prime Video in 2021.
🆚 Who is funnier: Brits or Americans? Versus is the comedy show that puts that to the test! We’ll have 3 comedians from the UK doing their best material, and 3 comedians from the USA doing their best material. At the end of the show, the audience gets to decide who wins! “What’s the prize?”, you may ask. Well, there isn’t one, except for the pride and glory that comes with winning a clap off!
💘 Want to have a laugh and maybe fall in love? Lolyamorous is a live speed dating comedy show, where you can sign up to go on an on-stage mini date with another audience member, then get interviewed by the esteemed Lolyamorous panel. Darren Cullen hosts, with sex/relationship expert Willow Star, and Olga Camacho as the guest host.
🎭 Yoky Yu is bringing her Experimental Musical Crowd Work Stand Up Comedy show this weekend. She experiments in comedy by talking awkwardly and bluntly to the audience, discovers their inner demons and sometimes sings about it in songs made up on the spot. She gives no trigger warnings and leaves no stones unturned when it comes to saying the utter most inappropriate and disgusting thing you can ever expect from a goodie-goodie looking Chinese lady. It is an interactive and ridiculous comedy event where therapist and comedian Yoky will bring the audience on a journey of damaging recovery….from their troubles. It is improvised, musical, confessional and totally irresponsible.
🇸🇪 For our Swedish-speaking fans, the Swedish variety show Banansnubbel is back! Come for an evening of comedy, improv, music, and more!
🏖️ Vuelve El Open Del Clubhouse, el open mic en castellano y català en el club de los guiris. Para el público, es completamente GRATIS, y para los que quieren actuar, solo hay que llegar antes de las 18:25h para apuntarte a la lista, y ya!
🪆 And for our Russian speakers, Sunday Bread is back this week with a new lineup of BCN-based and visiting comedians from all over the Russian-speaking world.
