Open Comedy Writing Workshop • Saturday
Join us every Saturday for an Open Comedy Writing Workshop at The Comedy Clubhouse Barcelona.
Whether you’ve performed or written a lot, or are interested in trying it for the first time, this is the perfect opportunity to jump into the Barcelona comedy scene.
Sessions will usually focus on writing for stand-up comedy although sometimes we have guest teachers leading sessions on screen writing, sketch writing, fiction, or other writing styles that relate to comedy.
Our usual workshop teachers are comedians who perform regularly in Barcelona and around the world. Several have performed on television, opened for heavy hitters, crafted Edinburgh Fringe hours, and more. While every teacher has different strengths and exercises they’ll share, each workshop is designed to inspire you to write new ideas and improve upon old ones.
This is a great place to meet new people, play games, have fun & learn new skills!

This is a free workshop, but donations will be gratefully accepted by the teacher at the end if you have found it useful. Please bring cash to donate.
