Highlights
Once the rain clears up, are you coming to the Comedy Clubhouse? Now that it’s officially summer, stay tuned for some slight changes to the schedule (and discount codes!)
A big change will be on Wednesdays! We’re opening up the Wednesday 7:30pm slot this summer for some solo shows (and maybe some split hours and other fun ideas, we’ll see!) This week we’re kicking it off with Michelle Wolf, who is working out some new material before she heads back out on tour. And next week, we’ll have a special taping of Kyla Cobbler’s smash hit debut solo hour, Gone Rogue, and we want to make sure the house is packed for her, so come check it out.
We’ve also got a Saturday Spotlight double header this weekend, with 2 killer Canadian acts getting ready for the Edinburgh Fringe. Noor Kidwai and Andrew Oporto have both been doing stand up for over a decade, have toured all over North America and the UK, have released comedy albums, and have performed at massive comedy festivals and top clubs. Now, they’re passing through BCN and we couldn’t help but set up back-to-back Spotlight shows for them. The lineups will be completely different for both shows, so feel free to stay for a stand up comedy marathon (and save some money by getting a ticket for both shows at once). And since you’re our favorite customers, you can get 2×1 tickets by using the code OHCANADA on our website.

Saturday Spotlights: Noor Kidwai & Andrew Oporto
Our first headliner will be Noor Kidwai! As Seen on CBC and heard on Sirius XM Satellite Radio Comedian Noor Kidwai grew up in the small farming town of High River, Alberta, which was the first place he began doing comedy. He has sharp writing, combined with a background in Improv which makes him quick on his feet. He now lives in Toronto and tours all over Canada and the UK. He’s performed at Just For Laughs 42, The Winnipeg Comedy Festival, The Seattle International Comedy Competition, and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland.
Then we’ll have Andrew Oporto headlining the second Spotlight show. Andrew Oporto is a stand-up, sketch and improv comedian from Toronto. He won Absolute Comedy’s “Prove You’re a Comic Competition” in 2019, was nominated for Best English Comedy at the Montreal Fringe Festival, has performed at JFL42, headlined New York City Sketch Fest, completed Second City’s Conservatory, appeared on Funny or Die, and is a roster comic at Absolute Comedy and the Corner Comedy Club in Toronto. He has built a sizable following online for his sketch comedy, both independently and with his troupe Live Dudes.
Openers: Randy Staples and Olga Camacho (8pm) / Zak Haines and Meka Mo (10pm)
Hosts: Hannah Becker (8pm) / John Allis (10pm)
Special Shows This Week
🐉 The hilarious fantasy adventure show is back! At Comedians & Dragons, see comedians playing Dungeons & Dragons on stage led by experienced dungeon master Stuart Kennedy. The only thing is that the comedians don’t really know how to play. Come for the wacky characters, unconventional choices, and the ability to interact in the game yourself. Whether you’re a level 10 druid, or don’t even know what that means, you’ll enjoy the show!
🐺 We’re happy to have Michelle Wolf back doing an extended set this week! If you want to see more than just a drop in set, come see her taking her time to work out some newer jokes, and polishing up other bits for whatever special she has planned next!
🔥 We’ve got an extra special edition of Roast Battle this week to celebrate the 4th of July! It’s the Revolutionary War part 2, with USA vs. UK matchups to show who really should have won. Battles from Meka Mo vs. Darren Cullen, Tessa Anaya vs. Alec Snook, Hannah Becker vs. Esther, Matt Jagiello vs. Stuart Kennedy, and Jordan Thomas Gray vs. James Regal. The judges have been carefully selected to not favor anyone, so we have Hector Ayala, Kyla Cobbler, and Olga Camacho.
🎤 Kyla Cobbler is going to be working out her newest hour, Obviously, over the next few weeks. The fun thing about a Kyla Cobbler show is that you never get exactly the same show twice! In between working on her latest stories and gags, Kyla is known for her rapid-fire crowd work. So feel free to come more than once if you’re a big fan of Kyla (plus, you’ll get to see how this new hour develops!)
😈 The Offenders is back with a killer lineup and some naughty jokes! If you love comedy that you can’t repeat around the water cooler, you’ll love this night of dark, edgy, NSFW jokes!
☕️ Early risers, rejoice! Coffee Con Comedy is our daytime talk show packed full of interviews, games, stand up, and other silliness hosted by Vem & Vos. Your ticket includes free coffee and pancakes!
💀 One of our favorite alternative comedians, Andy Casper, is Bone Man. He has returned to ride once again. Who is Bone Man? What does he want? What does he have in his bag? The only way to know is to attend his one hour character/clowning show, Bone Man Rides Again.
🍕 Our monthly Italian open mic is on this weekend! Come see a lineup of the best local acts and visiting comedians all in Italian!
🪆 And we have our open mic in Russian this weekend as well! Sunday Bread features a lineup of Russian-speaking comedians of all levels and from various backgrounds.
