Saturday Spotlight: Marnie Manning
Marnie Manning is a Barcelona-based American comic. Her comedy style is energetic, quick, and wry, full of personal anecdotes and hilarious observations. Marnie is also a master crowd worker who can expertly bring together an audience, as well as put hecklers in their place. She was the first comedian to perform in English at the Cruïlla Fesitval and La Llama Fest. She is a regular opening act for Michelle Wolf, and has been a classic on the Barcelona English scene for more than seven years.

This week we have battles from Stuart Kennedy vs. Matt Jagiello, Mariah Girouard vs. Alex Jacob, and competing for the title of Roast Battle Barcelona CHAMPION we have Mila Kopaeva challenging our current champ Darren Cullen.

🏴 Every year we have more and more acts taking shows to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, so we’re doing another Fringe Preview day! From 11am on Saturday, we’ll have back-to-back Fringe previews so you can see what these crazy kids are working on before they head to Scotland in August. We’re opening the doors at 10:30am and we’ll have coffee and pancakes to start the day.
🥃 It’s time for another Drink Drank Drunk show! The international drinking and debating show takes the classic debate tournament and drenches it in liquor. Comedians will attempt to defend their positions after taking what a doctor might call “too many fucking shots”. This week our brave debaters are Mila Kopaeva, Jordan Thomas Gray, Palla, and visiting comedian Shea Freeman. Hosted by Luke Messina and judged by Hannah Becker and Chris Groves.
