Hey, everyone! We’ve got an exciting week coming up with plenty of new shows, old favorites, and the glorious return of Kyla Cobbler from her tour!
We’re launching a new series on Wednesdays at 7:30 called “& Friends” and for the next couple of weeks, it’ll be “Kyla Cobbler & Friends”! Not only will you get to enjoy Kyla’s masterful crowd work and hear some of the new material she’s been working on, but you’ll get sets from top visiting and BCN-based comedians, hand-picked by Kyla! (And when she’s out of town, we’ll get other killer acts to host and pick their funniest friends). This goes along with the Spanish and Catalan version of the show we’re doing on Sundays (“y Amigos” or “i Amics”) which will be hosted by the iconic Andrea Farina this weekend.
And for fans of our Roast Battle shows, this week is the official start of the 2024 tournament! We’ll host the first round of debates to see who makes it to the quarterfinals next month to be one step closer to taking home the champion’s belt! Catch battles from Mila Kopaeva vs. Porter Grubbs, Romina Cocca vs. Hector Ayala, Jordan Thomas Gray vs. Alex Jacob, and Stuart Kennedy vs. Niko.

Special Shows This Week
🎤 After a bunch of really fun shows back in August, The One Minute Mic is back in a monthly slot! This is where literally anyone, from experienced acts to audience members, gets the chance to perform 1 minute of stand up, then get some feedback from our panel of comedians led by Jordan Thomas Gray. Performers can win free drinks and other prizes, so come and take a chance!
🫂 We’re launching our new “& Friends” series with Kyla Cobbler! Whenever she’s in town, she’ll handpick killer comedians from our scene and beyond to join her for 75 minutes of awesome stand up comedy!
🔥 The 2024 Roast Battle BCN tournament is officially kicking off this week with the first half of the first round. Stay tuned over the next 2 months to see who will make it to the finals at the epic Comedy Purge event on November 1!
🏴 “London is great” is Jakob Kerkhove’s second one-man show portraying the story of a complete idiot moving to a post-Brexit London to find a better life. The show, while full of laughter and storytelling, sketches a journey through the highs and lows of life in one of the world’s most iconic cities: London. “London is Great” takes you deep into the heart of the capital through the eyes of someone who thought escaping Spanish tapas was the hardest part—until he realized the hard reality of being an immigrant and employment-based visas.
🍆 NEW SHOW ALERT! The hit show from Prague “Bang? Marry? Kill?” is coming to The Comedy Clubhouse in a monthly slot! Hosted by recent transplant Belinda Filippelli, comedians will share their funniest and most horrifying stories about dating, love, relationships, and turn-offs. At the end of each comedian’s set, audience members will be chosen randomly (only those who AGREE to participate) and the comedian will ask the audience members questions to find out if they are meant to bang, marry, or kill each other (the audience members, that is, not the comedian). Then by a round of applause the audience gets to make the ultimate decision, would they Bang? Marry? Kill? the comedian??
☘️ Kyla Cobbler is back from her solo tour of Ireland, and will be doing an hour of crowd work and new material TWICE this weekend. Don’t miss her newest stories and material, plus totally unique crowd work moments.
🍻 The drinking and debating sensation is back! Drink Drank Drunk is one of our longest-running format shows that pits comedians against each other in an alcohol-soaked debate tournament filled with ridiculous topics and an even more ridiculous amount of shots. This month we have Porter Grubbs, Natalie Lynn, Ben Pabla, and Brielle debating, with the classic host/judge team of Luke Messina, Hannah Becker, and Chris Groves.
☕️ Early risers can enjoy our very own daytime talk show, Coffee Con Comedy! Hosted by Vem & Vos, the show features interviews, live music, stand up, games, and more. PLUS free coffee and pancakes for the audience!
