Hey there, everyone! Ready for another week of amazing comedy?
If you’ve ever dreamt of kicking a comedian you didn’t find funny off stage, then Gong Wild is the show for you! Our take on the classic gong show format invites comedians of all levels to try their best material, and try to win the audience over. However, selected audience members will have special paddles they can raise if they aren’t impressed. If enough paddles go up, host John Allis will bang the gong, and the comedian will stop their set. Anyone who beats the gong will get a crisp 10 euro bill and bragging rights. It’s the only show that’s guaranteed to be either amazing, or short!
We’ve also got Kyla Cobbler hosting a ton of shows this week, including Kyla Cobbler & Friends. She’s around this week and next week, but after that we’ll have different hosts, so don’t miss your chance to see Kyla while she’s in town!

Saturday Spotlight: Pete Zedlacher
Versatile comedian, actor and writer Pete Zedlacher is a 20+ year veteran of the Canadian comedy scene and one of the premiere headliners in the country. Zedlacher, who proudly hails from Wawa, a small mining town in Northern Ontario, draws heavily from his Canadian working-class roots. He’s gone on world tours, written for and appeared on TV, performed at massive festivals, and won multiple awards.

🎤 One of our newest BCN locals, Belinda Filippelli, is bringing her debut work-in-progress solo show to The Comedy Clubhouse. “The Heart, Mind, C*unt Connection” is a deliciously dark and personal hour from the NYC native who has a serious knack for turning hardship into humor. Her comedy weaves seamlessly through topics ranging from teenage pregnancy and dog ownership to funerals and rejecting Cougarhood. Belinda just moved here from Prague, so come support this recent transplant!

🙅 Gong Wild is back this weekend with a long lineup of brave comedians willing to face judgment from the audience. A couple of minutes into each set, the audience will get to decide if they can continue and finish their set, or if they will be removed from the stage by our glorious gong.
🆕 Kyla Cobbler is also doing an hour of crowd work and new material this weekend as she works on her newest hour. Come for a relaxed Sunday evening with Kyla, where she’ll be working out new jokes, but also looking to mine new material from her legendary crowd work.
