Brexico is an hour of stand-up comedy that is half Mexican, half British, full madness. It features two comedy aliens, Andy Casper and Héctor Ayala, making light of their experiences of living as immigrants in Barcelona. These two knuckleheads have been performing stand-up for over six years and regularly delight audiences all over Europe. They have performed this show at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and it has sold out every time it has been performed in Barcelona. Don’t miss it!

 

Andy Casper

Award winning comedian Andy Casper is based in Barcelona and is the creator and host of many shows including: Imprfcto Comedy, Nonsense Pudding, The Sadness Cabaret, and Bone Man Rides Again. His style is observational with a touch of the alternative. His inspirations include but are not limited to: The Flight of the Conchords, Guns n Roses, Chris Rock, Phil Ellis, Ross Noble, Vernon Chatman, and Albert Camus. Andy is an experienced act having taken part in 5 Edinburgh Fringe festivals. He has won two awards at the prestigious Barcelona Comedy Clubhouse Annual Awards Ceremony: 2022’s ‘’Most Dedicated to Nonsense’’ and 2023s ‘’Best Solo Show’’.

 

Hector Ayala

Héctor Ayala is an established stand-up comedian in the Barcelona English speaking scene. Originally from Mexico, and starting in Barcelona’s comedy circuit in 2018, Hector quickly grew to become one of the local favorites with his warm and loveable persona and highly energetic story telling. Hector currently hosts Basemint Comedy – one of Barcelona’s most renowned stand up comedy shows – and formerly co-produced Uranus Comedy with Andy Casper, a comedy showcase with the best comedians of the local scene and abroad which have featured Michelle Wolf, Ngaio Bealum, and Preacher Lawson. Some of his most impactful features include performing in several showcases around diverse cities such as Edinburgh (EdFringe 2022), Amsterdam, Berlin, Basel, and Luxembourg, opening in Barcelona for Michelle Wolf, La Cotorrisa (Mexico) and Hablando Huevadas (Peru); as well as appearing as a finalist in National Romanian Television (iUmor 2023, Stand-Up Revolution 2022).
