After his first comedy show about quitting comedy, his second about his beginnings in comedy, Filippo’s third show is about coming up with a theme for a comedy show.
Why so? Very well asked (this is a rhetorical device). “Content” rules our everyday: as we are bombarded with social issues of impossible resolution, our lives have progressively transformed into projects with meanings that must serve a collective good nobody truly cares about. All the while, we struggle to get to grips with who we are. And comedy is grappling with its own identity too. So why feed the machine?
Or, could it be that Filippo is merely projecting and is unable to come up with a coherent theme for his show?
The show includes improvisation, music and an Italian accent.
