She’s silly. She’s sad. She’s horny. And she can play the piano. Award-winning comedian Jamie Lerner jokes about ADHD, masturbation, and other girly shit in her debut solo show. A Jewish New Yorker living in Barcelona, Jamie’s mix of stand-up and musical comedy has elicited comparisons to Bo Burnham, Cat Cohen, and Garfunkel and Oates, among others. Jamie chronicles her life from a kid with big dreams to a dark comedian who’s still a hopeless romantic with quirky songs about death, love, and everything in between.
“Deliciously piquant … She can also time a gag to hit the comedy sweet spot right on the nose.” (Kate Copstick, The Scotsman)
“If little orphan Annie grew up to be a kick ass comedian” (A Youngish Perspective)
“Jamie was hilarious and we found ourselves falling in love with her over the hour we spent with her. Self-deprecating in the best way and super catchy songs, we had to stop ourselves from singing some of them throughout the day!” (Audience review)
“Fun (and kinda twisted) jokes from a very likable person” (Audience review)
“Behind the jokes and laughter Jamie touches upon something profound about being human.” (Audience review)
