Born and raised in Catholic Ireland, Lorna finds herself barefoot and bewildered in Barcelona. Through storytelling, and crowd work, she explores Catholic guilt, sexuality and cultural confusion. Blending wit with vulnerability, the show unpacks shame and how to rebuild identity in a new culture. After sold-out runs in Barcelona and Dublin, and taking her debut show to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival this year, Lorna creates an atmosphere where audiences feel part of the journey.Barefoot Before God is a story of transformation, for anyone learning to laugh at the shame they were raised in.
‘Lorna’s charisma drives the show from start to finish…the energy doesn’t drop for a second’ (Audience Review)
