Big Mic Energy is a relaxed and friendly bi-monthly open mic for women and non-binary comedians of all levels, from complete beginner to pro. Comedians try out new material, polish their best stuff, or maybe even try comedy for the first time! There's a different lineup for every show, and you can even put your name down to perform, as there are always two walk-in spots available.

Hosted by showrunners Belinda Filippelli (GoViral Comedy) and Kim Skinner (AtoMIC Comedy), Big Mic Energy is all about uplifting and celebrating women and non-binary folks in comedy, creating a space for them to grow and shine, and providing an antidote to the average 11-dudes-on-the-lineup open mic… It’s about encouraging the "I could do that" confidence to get up on stage, and showing that all you need to be funny is a mic and some Big Mic Energy!

Everyone is welcome to watch and support our funny fems and thems. It’s perfect for a chilled evening with friends, and a great opportunity to make new ones! The warm, friendly vibes make this an ideal place to meet new people and enjoy great comedy in a safe, laid-back setting.
